Come and see my homeland through a new lens.

Bihar, India, my place of origin, is an enigma. Little is known about Bihar, once renowned for education, governance, and religion. There are many misconceptions and stereotypes about Bihar and Biharis among Indians within India and outside of India, such as a lack of success among its people, lower rank as a state of India, lack of hope of a promising future, etc.

I want to share with you the Bihar I see when I visit my family that still lives there. Over the years, the media has shed light on Bihar's deficiencies. However, failed to highlight her strengths, resources, and adequacies. As a Bihari, I realize the falsehoods in these misconceptions and stereotypes, garnered by state divisions and generalized by misinformed outsiders.

Therefore, I want to use my art to challenge these negative and biased narratives and showcase Bihar as a significant part of India, both with its pros and cons.  I also aspire to unravel and highlight the missed potential of Bihar, its monumental history as the center of ancient India, its people's consistent success in society, and other opportunities that could have been but were never explored.
