Actually

We are defined by individuality and diversity, yet share a single humanity.

My work is influenced by my interest in people and how our diverse beliefs take shape despite our unity as human beings.

Symbolizing how thought processes can literally and figuratively take a turn from person to person or in other words, the power of our individuality; however, the truth nonetheless remains that we are a single humanity. Our messages may have contradictory meanings, but our basic nature, needs, and hopes are the same.

An additional aim in my work is to challenge the beliefs people different from me may already have about the topics I discuss, and to question that which they may hold as true. I provide for them a presentation to see my side of humanity—someone they may consider as “the other.”
